Staff and Volunteer Team Staff and Volunteer Team

Volunteers are the vital lifeblood of Springboard for Children. We are reliant on their commitment and support as they work alongside our qualified, paid staff.

The children's relationship with a trusted adult is at the heart of our work so we require that volunteers commit to at least one year with Springboard for Children. Many of our volunteers and staff have been with us for several years, and have given children from difficult backgrounds that much needed consistency and support. It is the relationship between the tutor and the child that makes Springboard for Children unique. It focuses on developing the whole child, restoring their confidence, while building up their motivation to learn in a friendly and engaging environment.
