community fundraising

Every day we rely on people just like YOU to help raise money through community fundraising.
All you need is a little spare time and a lot of enthusiasm and you can hold an event to fundraise for Springboard. You can do ANYTHING you want:

  • Host a coffee morning
  • Get Sponsored. You can get sponsored to do anything you like, from walking across the country to holding a knitting marathon. Why not get your friends involved and make it a group sponsored event?
  • Know any bands or drama groups – why not ask them to hold their next performance in aid of Springboard?
  • Hold a quiz in aid of Springboard.
  • Take part in a challenge event, like a parachute jump or whitewater rafting and we’ll arrange for you to do it whenever suits you!

Thank you!

Community Events

Community events are up and running and have been proving both successful and enjoyable for all involved …

Coffee Morning Week

Various organisations and individuals took part in our coffee morning week raising over £1000!!!  Wellington Management held a Coffee Morning in the reception area of their building, they sold Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Coffee and managed to raise £150.  Manchester supporters carried out various coffee mornings throughout the week which included in supporters homes, in schools and at the local church.  And, not forgetting our Springboard volunteer who managed to raise over £500 by baking cakes and giving them to her husband to sell at work, which is amazing!!

Barn Dance

South London held a Barn Dance raising over £1000!  The Barn Dance was a huge success and thank you to everyone involved with the event and to all who donated items, including the Cheese Cellar who donated all of the cheese, Wine Intelligence who donated the wine and Square Roots, the lively band who played at no cost.  A great time was had by all and there was a really good atmosphere.  It was impressive to see so many people with their dancing shoes on and those who preferred to spectate had an enjoyable evening watching the very entertaining dance floor.  Don’t miss out on the next one.
