The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust
The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust (DST) is a consortium of organisations involved in promoting improved practice and outcomes for individuals with dyslexia and specific learning difficulties. Springboard for Children is within the consortium and our Chief Executive, Margaret McVeigh is on the Board of Trustees. The Trust is in its early stages but will provide exciting opportunities for Springboard to work with a wide range of stakeholder groups to promote fuller understanding and awareness of dyslexia and specific learning difficulties.

Springboard for Children provides an incredible service to barely literate children. Well that's what we think at Springboard!
This is one of the reasons, among others, why Margaret McVeigh, our Chief Executive, commissioned Stranmillis University College Belfast to conduct an independent evaluation of the charity. Margaret invited a research team, led by Miss Audrey Curry, Vice Principal of the College, to examine every aspect of the charity and draw conclusions on the effectiveness of the work we do and its relevance in today’s primary education system. The research has been thorough and comprehensive. The evaluation report provides the reader with a unique insight into Springboard for Children, the work we do and how we do it.
