Springboard for Children works in partnership with schools in London and Manchester providing individualised, tailored, multi-sensory literacy tutoring to children in inner city primary schools. Through this, we help to break the cycles of failure, frustration and disruptive behaviour before they cause long-term difficulties.
As a Friend of Springboard for Children you will be part of a group who together, through generosity and commitment, help change the lives of hundreds of children.
As a committed, appreciated and generous giver you will be given the chance to see the teaching that we do and the children that we teach. Not only will you be able to see exactly how your money is helping, but you will also be given updates of our work via newsletters and be able to contact the Friends Co-ordinator directly for any queries that you have.

How your gift will help us …
Springboard for Children relies on the generosity of individuals like you to support our work. We work with some of the most needy children in London and Manchester; children that are illiterate and face a life of failure and frustration at school and in later life if they don’t receive our help.
Your donation will help us to continue our work with approximately 340 children in primary schools and enable us to extend our services to other deprived inner city areas. Thank you.
Where will your donation go?
Every child is taught twice a week for 36 weeks a year. They have a tutor assigned to them for a year who works with the child on an individual learning plan tailored to that child.
